The book is a logical continuation and addition to the reference book “Narrow-gauge steam locomotives. Russia”, released in 2012.

The new work contains the maximum amount of materials on narrow gauge steam locomotives that arrived on the railways of our country in the Soviet era. These are new cars built for the Soviet Union by domestic and foreign factories, and locomotives that ended up in the USSR as a result of the events of the Second World War.

The book contains a large number of archival photographs from the collections of collectors and museums, drawings, and statistical data. Many of these materials are published for the first time.
